Duration: 1 hour
On Friday 22nd March, the Transports & Logistics Committee held its first meeting of the year to discuss its plans for 2024 and beyond.
✅ Last year, the committee was highly active, organising two major events: the Transports & Logistics Forum and the Customs Forum. The committee also held several consultations with the Customs Department and the Ministry of Public Works and Transport.
✅ Moving forward to 2024, the committee expects significant developments, especially with the Customs Department’s introduction of Pre-Arrival Processing and regulations on express shipments. The committee has decided to collaborate and map all industry information, comparing it to the data required by the AsyHub platform, to streamline customs processes for businesses.
✅ The committee is eagerly anticipating further customs-related developments this year, especially with the recent implementation of Pre-Arrival Processing at the Sihanoukville Port.
