Ahead of the successful Textile Summit, the Garment & Manufacturing Committee held its first committee meeting of the year on March 24 to discuss the plan for 2025.
The Committee will advocate for issues related to the digitalization of the industry, export licenses, and occupational safety and health, among many other topics of the committee’s initiatives.
The Committee also provided input for the Textile Summit, which contributed to its resounding success. The committee was also informed of the latest market trends and observed significant export growth, which may have been disrupted.
Looking ahead, the Garment and Manufacturing sector will face some headwinds related to tariff uncertainty, LDC graduation, and the need for the economy to diversify.
