EuroCham Cambodia’s Transport & Logistics Committee kicked off the year with its first meeting on 4 April 2025, bringing together industry stakeholders to review recent advocacy outcomes and map out strategic objectives for the months ahead.

The session provided an opportunity to reflect on important progress, including:

  • Customs procedure simplification, with an updated Power of Attorney letter now in effect

  • Digital platform integration, with ongoing efforts to fully unify the CVDS, ASYHUB, and ASYCUDA systems to improve transparency and efficiency

  • Infrastructure updates, including concerns around the delayed operational readiness of the logistics centre at Phnom Penh’s new airport

  • Port competitiveness, with members stressing the need for upgrades at Sihanoukville Port to strengthen Cambodia’s position in regional and global trade

While several structural challenges remain, the committee acknowledged the positive momentum underway. Members reaffirmed their commitment to driving reforms that will enhance Cambodia’s logistics capabilities and support long-term trade facilitation.

The committee will continue working closely with public and private stakeholders to advocate for necessary improvements across the sector.
