On Monday 13th January, EuroCham hosted Mr. Rahul Bhatnagar from the Ministry of Commerce for a consultation on the Cambodia Trade Policy Framework Towards 2030.
The consultation focused on the second pillar of the framework: Enhancing Cambodia’s trade competitiveness in global markets.

- Focused on strengthening core economic sectors such as manufacturing and agriculture.
- Emphasised the importance of advancing Cambodia’s top industries, including textiles, electronics parts production, and cashew nuts, as areas for growth.
- Advocated for integrating green and sustainable practices, positioning Cambodia as a sustainability leader in the region. With Cambodia as a key sourcing destination, the country could champion sustainability and stand out from its regional competitors.
